INTENSELY FLAVORFUL NEW MENU REACHES ALL UNO'S LOCATIONS

Updated menu features new delicious and nutritious items alongside classic indulgent dishes

BOSTON, MASS., May 26, 2011 - An intensely flavorful new menu for UNO (www.unos.com), the casual dining restaurant with a focus on both indulgent and delicious and nutritious dining options, is officially available in all restaurant locations. The new menu was tested for several months in New England to ensure customer enjoyment and satisfaction.

The new menu features a balance of delicious and nutritious and indulgent items. The new items are not limited to just new recipes, but new serving size options as well. There are six new tapas-style "Small Plate" appetizers such as steak masala, sauteed shrimp and white beans, and farro salad, and other new appetizers include half-orders of three thin crust pizzas. New pasta dishes include tomato vegetable curry, chicken broccoli with lemon pesto and deep dish mac and cheese, with nearly all of the pasta entrees available as Small Plates. Alongside Uno's classic original deep dish pizza, guests can also order new artisan thin crust pizzas like fig, goat cheese and broccoli, shrimp, spinach and goat cheese, and wild mushroom and Cabot® cheddar, all available in traditional or five grain thin crust. Also on the menu are new hand-made burgers and Uno's popular Certified Black Angus Beef steaks - only 8% of beef sold in the U.S is classified as Certified Black Angus Beef. Rounding out the new menu is the re-introduction of an old favorite: the peanut butter cup dessert.

Uno's also has a new weekday lunch menu, the star of which is the "Two for You" lunch. Guests can mix and match salads, soups, sandwiches and pizzas to create a custom lunch that is both value-priced and guaranteed to be served in 10 minutes.

"It showcases natural, fresh, carefully chosen ingredients, dishes like a refreshing farro salad, with tomatoes, cucumbers and balsamic vinaigrette, fresh hand-made burgers, and artisan thin crust pizzas with unique toppings."
