Grill's Chief Nutritionist and Food Scientist, Chef Adam Sacks is making
sure
Uno Chicago Grill's commitment to its
customers'
nutritional concerns are being addressed. Sacks is among a very short
list of individuals in the country that have obtained both a Chef Certification
and Registration as a Dietitian. His unique ability to create healthier
cuisine has enabled him to work in the finest spas and resorts domestically
as well as internationally. Most recently, Chef Sacks had devoted much
his energy teaching as a Chef Instructor & Nutritionist at Johnson & Wales
University in Providence RI. His specialties include Athletic Performance
Cuisine, Vegetarian and Spa Cuisine, Exercise & Fitness as well
as Product Development. In addition to his primary culinary responsibilities … he
was JWU's Sports Team Nutritionist overseeing over 26 NCAA Division
3 Varsity Teams and 200+ athletes.
Chef Sacks continues to impact his
community by offering Heart Healthy cooking classes, private consultations,
as well as outreaching to local
high school athletic teams regarding healthy eating practices, supplement
abuse, and weight management. In addition, Sacks enjoys a Deep Dish
Pizza after a long bicycle ride in the Green Mountains of Vermont.
