New Uno Chicago Grill® to Open in Burlington, Mass.

BOSTON, MA, July 15, 2008 - Once again, Uno Chicago Grill® is bucking the trend of casual chain restaurants slowing expansion, announcing the grand re-opening of its restaurant in Burlington, Mass., at the newly revamped Burlington Mall (1150 Middlesex Turnpike). The company will host a grand re-opening celebration and ceremonial pizza cutting on Tuesday, July 22 at 10:30 a.m.

The new Burlington location features warm, inviting colors, beautiful graphics, plush, comfortable seating, a plethora of flat screen TVs, as well as a lounge with a dramatic back bar. All are designed to make Uno® a genuine 'oasis' in which to unwind after a hectic day of shopping at the mall.

"The opening of the Burlington restaurant is the latest example of our evolution to a 'Best In Class' casual restaurant. Everything we do is focused on creating a fun, contemporary and inviting atmosphere that's friendly to families and offers a great lounge in which to gather," said Uno CEO Frank W. Guidara. "Underlying all we do is our dedication to fabulous flavor in service to great food and beverage."

Uno Chicago Grill has revitalized its hiring and training program to create a memorable dining experience. Rick Hendrie, senior vice president of marketing, says that the executive team, comprised of Guidara, Hendrie and Chief Operating Officer Roger Zingle, designed an experience that not only delivers on the commonly-expected details, but also on how the guest feels each moment from "curb to curb," entrance to exit.

"We want to create unexpected surprises and delights and genuine moments of hospitality - some conscious, others visceral," said Hendrie.

The Burlington location, like every other unit in the Boston area, will also feature Uno's new unconditional money-back guarantee. The guarantee is being pilot tested in other markets including those in Worcester, Mass., Providence, RI, and St. Louis, MO. If, for any reason, a guest is dissatisfied with his or her experience at Uno, that guest will not have to pay for the meal.

Uno's menu continues to offer cutting edge recipes using ingredients that are notable for their nutritional benefits as much as their flavor. Some of them were saluted in Health magazine when it named Uno 'America's Healthiest Chain Restaurant'. Uno was lauded for its use of multi grain pasta, all natural flatbread pizzas and even its promotion of a house salad with an entrée for a bargain price, because, "We want you to have your greens." Prevention magazine also gave kudos to Uno's Roasted Eggplant, Spinach and Feta Flatbread Pizza as a 'guilt free pizza'. Parents magazine recently featured Uno Chicago Grill as a top 10 kid-friendly restaurant, congratulating the chain for its innovative Make Your Own Pizza program for kids and the healthy options it offers them.

"We have reviewed, discussed and analyzed every detail of the Uno experience. Our guests have been the driving force behind every change we've made," said Guidara. "We take Uno's historical commitment to creating hand-crafted dishes and weave it together with an artisanal approach to hospitality."
