Uno® Makes Father's Day Fun - and Dad Might Even Win a Free Meal
BOSTON, MA, June 6, 2008 - Show Dad how special he is with a Father's Day celebration at Uno Chicago Grill®, which Health magazine ranked as America's Healthiest Chain Restaurant. Fathers and children will have exciting chances to win free meals while delicious new menu items, available for a limited time only, will satisfy any appetite.
From June 10 through June 15, participating Uno® locations will be decorated with crowns and fruit, celebrating Dad as the king of his castle. During this period, Father's Day coloring sheets and crayons will be distributed to young guests. Each child can color in Dad's favorite sport, and those who complete the coloring sheets will receive a prize for a free Kid's Make Your Own Pizza Meal on their next visit. The child-created artwork also makes a fun Father's Day keepsake.
On Father's Day, June 15, Dad can try his hand at picking the Lucky Tee. If he chooses the right golf tee, he will win a free steak on his next visit.
Throughout the month of June, Uno will also be promoting gift cards for Dads and grads at participating locations. Now, through Father's Day, for every $25 gift card purchased, guests also receive a $5 bonus voucher for themselves, valid from June 16 to August 3, 2008.
For a limited time before and during Father's Day, Uno will be offering some delicious new entrées that Dad will love, including Uno's Fisherman's Platter -- a heaping portion of fried haddock, shrimp and calamari served with fries, sweet Vidalia onion rings, marinara and red pepper tartar sauce for dipping -- and the Brewmaster's Grill Sirloin Steak -- a 12-ounce New York strip steak served with tangy Uno's Wowza Sauce™ infused with Samuel Adams Boston Lager®.
In addition, Uno will feature its regular menu.
