GRILL OPENS IN LIBERTY
New Uno to Feature Curbside Delivery, Low-Carbohydrate
and School Partners Program
Boston (April 27, 2004) –
Uno Restaurant Holdings Corp. announces the opening of its
fourth Uno Chicago Grill restaurant in Missouri. The new
Uno Chicago Grill is located at 9050 Northeast Barry Road,
also known as Route 152, just west of I-35. The store will
officially open for business on Thursday, April 29. The
hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00
a.m., Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and Sunday
from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

and are excited to open another Uno Chicago Grill in Missouri,"
said Uno President and Chief Operating Officer Paul MacPhail.
"We continue to add innovative, high-quality items
to our grill menu, and the Kansas City area already loves
our famous Chicago-style deep dish pizza."
The newly built Uno Chicago Grill is 7,000 square feet,
seats approximately 200 guests and will open with 130 employees.
The restaurant will look and feel like an old Chicago warehouse,
with Windy City memorabilia decorating the walls and mahogany
trim throughout the bar. In addition to serving a full menu,
including new low-carbohydrate options, curbside delivery
service will be available.
To further involvement and commitment to the Liberty community,
the new restaurant will offer Uno’s School Partner
Program. The program includes several educational events,
like free Pizza Maker Parties and fundraising opportunities
for local schools and community organizations.
The new Uno Chicago Grill is owned and operated by Doughboy,
LLC. "Uno Chicago Grill provides a high quality casual
dining experience and offers the best food around,"
said Doughboy, LLC Area Director Barclay Berberian. "In
addition, we believe that the convenience of curbside delivery
will be a big hit with Liberty-area guests." The franchise
group also operates three other Uno locations in Lawrence
and Overland Park, Kansas and Kansas City Plaza.
In 2003, the restaurant known for its Chicago Original
Deep Dish Pizza™ evolved its name from Pizzeria Uno
to Uno Chicago Grill to reflect the variety of its menu.
Today, Uno Chicago Grill has the same great pizza, but also
offers a complete casual dining menu, including ribs, seafood,
juicy burgers and steaks, innovative pasta dishes, scrumptious
appetizers, low-carbohydrate alternatives and desserts.
