NEW UNO CHICAGO GRILL OPENS IN STERLING HEIGHTS

Opening Marks the Third Uno Restaurant in Michigan

Boston, Mass., (November 7, 2003) – Uno Restaurant Holdings Corp., known for Chicago’s Original Deep Dish Pizza™, announces the opening of its third Uno Chicago Grill restaurant in Michigan. The new Uno Chicago Grill is located at 44805 Mound Road, on the corner of Mound Road and M59. The store will officially open for business on Monday, November 10. Members of the Sterling Heights Chamber of Commerce will participate in a special ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

“We are proud to become part of the Sterling Heights community and are excited to open the third Uno Chicago Grill in Michigan,” said Uno President and Chief Operating Officer Paul MacPhail. “We continue to add innovative, high-quality items to our grill menu, and the Sterling Heights customers will come to know and love our famous deep dish pizza.”

The newly built Uno Chicago Grill is 6,200 square feet and will open with 140 employees. The restaurant seats 250 guests and features an outdoor seasonal patio. The restaurant will be run by General Manager Dave Sheehy, who has been with Uno for 14 years.
