NEW UNO CHICAGO GRILL OPENS IN WOODHAVEN, MICHIGAN
Marks the Second Uno Restaurant in the State
BOSTON, (April 24, 2003) – Uno Restaurant Holdings
Corp., known for inventing Chicago’s Original Deep
Dish Pizza™, announces the opening of its 195th Uno
Chicago Grill restaurant at 23450 Allen Road (in front
of Home Depot). The store will officially open for business
on Thursday, April 24. The hours of operation are 11 a.m.
to 12 midnight, Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to
1 a.m., Thursday through Saturday.
“We are proud to be part of the Down River community
and are excited to open a second location in Michigan,” said
Uno President and Chief Operating Officer Paul MacPhail. “As
we continue to add innovative, high-quality items to our
grill menu, our Woodhaven customers will soon know and
love the famous Uno Original Chicago Deep Dish Pizza.”
The restaurant is owned and operated by Jeff and Roy More. “Uno
has the best food around and we are pleased to be able
to open the next new Uno location,” said Jeff More.
This newly built 6,000-square foot location will employ
approximately 110 employees.
Uno Chicago Grill offers a complete casual dining menu,
including ribs, seafood, juicy burgers and steaks, innovative
pasta dishes, scrumptious appetizers and desserts, as well
as its signature Chicago Original Deep Dish Pizza™ available
with a variety of fresh toppings.
