NEW UNO CHICAGO GRILL OPENS IN QUEENSBURY, NEW YORK
Opening
Marks Twenty-Sixth Uno’s Restaurant in the
State
BOSTON (March 11, 2003) - Uno Restaurant Holdings
Corp., known for Chicago’s Original Deep Dish Pizza™,
announces the opening of its 192nd Uno Chicago Grill
restaurant at 880 – Route 9 (across from Wal-Mart).
The store will officially open for business on Tuesday,
March 11th.
The hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Sunday
through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
“We are proud to be part of the Queensbury community
and are excited to open another location in New York,” said
Uno President and Chief Operating Officer Paul MacPhail. “We
continue to add innovative, high-quality items to our grill
menu, and of course, Queensbury customers know and love
the famous Uno Chicago Original Deep Dish Pizza.”
The restaurant is owned and operated by David and Chandra
Kapoor, restaurateurs who also own the Uno location in
Saratoga, New York. “Uno has the best food around
and I am pleased to be able to open an Uno Chicago Grill
in the Warren County district,” said David Kapoor.
This newly built 7000-square foot location offers a garden
room and an outdoor patio. Joseph Favata, Director of Operations
for Uno Chicago Grill, will oversee the two Kapoor owned
locations that employ approximately 300 employees.

including ribs, seafood, juicy burgers and steaks, innovative
pasta dishes, scrumptious appetizers and desserts, as well
as its signature Chicago Original Deep Dish Pizza™ available
with a variety of fillings.
